Recorded in 1955 at the organ of Sainte-Clotilde, this version of Jean Langlais' "Te Deum" (Trois Paraphrases grégoriennes), composed in 1934, when he was still a composition pupil of Paul Dukas at the Paris Conservatoire, this version is probably one of his best recorded. The extreme liberty and the fast tempi adopted are particularly remarkable of his style of playing in the fifties.

The pictures shows Jean Langlais with Paul Dukas (class photo 1934).
