recording diverse works of the composer ranging from solo organ to
vocal ensemble compositions. The first to appear featured works for one

An event : George C.BAKER, one of the most gifted and dear pupil of Jean LANGLAIS recorded in July 2007 a Cd (for SOLSTICE company) devoted to his master for the centenary of his birth, on the marvellous Cavaillé-Coll organ of Saint-Sernin Basilica in Toulouse.
George C.BAKER selected for this recording works he has played before and has always loved.He felt also appropriate to include the two pieces LANGLAIS dedicated to him. |
