Ar the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Jean Langlais' death, Oberlin College of Music organises a concert featuring choirs, orchestra and organ in Francis Poulenc Stabat Mater and Jean LANGLAIS' Messe Solennelle for choirs, orchestra and organ (a premiere in USA in this version) given by Oberlin College Choir, Musical Union and Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Gregory Ristow, director of Vocal Ensembles at Oberlin. The organists are Mitch Miller (Langlais, Messe Solennelle) and Matthew Buller (Chant de Paix, 9 Pièces), Tigran Buniatyan (Incantation) and Gerwin Hoekstra (Daniel-Lesur : Scènes de la Passion)

To honor Dr.Robert Sutherland Lord's memory, three of his American pupils, Steven Anisko, Robert Blevins and Douglas Himes, plus Marie-Louise-Langlais, pay homage to him, playing "The Sainte-Clotilde Tradition" with César Franck' 1rst Choral (Bob Blevins), works by Charles Tournemire (Steven Anisko) and some of Jean LANGLAIS' music: Douglas Himes plays the "Suite Médiévale" and Marie-Louise Langlais "Cum jubilo" (Suite in simplicitate) and "La Cinquième trompette" (Cinq Méditations sur l'Apocalypse).
