The 7th Festival International organised by the "Association des Amis de Jean Langlais" in La Fontenelle, proposes a horn and organ recital featuring Eric Wallerand, horn, and Martina Ziegert, organ, in a programme with works by Bach/Vivaldi, Bazelaire, Ravel, Litaize, Krol, Callahan, and,by Jean LANGLAIS, Chorals n° 3-4-5-7 ("7 Chorals") and Pièces n° 2-4-6-8 ("9 Pièces"), originally for trumpet and organ but, here, in a version horn and organ.

Mass in honour of the 20th anniversary of Jean Langlais' death

To commemorate 20th anniversary of Jean Langlais' death, the "Festival Jean Langlais" pays a special homage to Langlais during the holy mass celebrated in Saint Samson church in La Fontenelle, by Father Victor Savatte, with the Festival Academy Choir, the local Choir and organist David Bednall. Jean LANGLAIS works played and sung during this service will be "Prélude" and "Acclamations carolingiennes" from Suite Médiévale, "Chant de Paix" from 9 Pièces, Kyrie-Gloria-Sanctus-Agnus Dei from "Messe d'Escalquens", "Dieu, nous avons vu ta gloire" and motet "Lauda Jerusalem Dominum".
